The short version

Betrino is a UK-targeted sportsbook – and casino, if you wander in there – run by ProgressPlay, the same operator as its sister brand Spinzwin. Its pitch to football punters is a bigger free bet than most: deposit £25 with code BB50 and the reward is a £50 one-time stake. The sports product covers the main ground (Premier League and the big leagues, UK and Irish racing, cricket, in-play), the layout is clean and mobile-first, and the offer is the headline. The licence picture – a “White Label” domain under ProgressPlay’s active UKGC account rather than an independent brand licence – is the thing to understand before depositing, and it’s laid out properly below.

Two honesty notes up front: our earlier version of this review claimed a “93-94% payout rate”, a €2.50 withdrawal fee and a missing mobile app – none of which we can source, all of which are removed. And Betrino’s homepage footer carries no licence statement at all (the reference lives in the terms), which is thinner on transparency than the big UK brands manage, even though the register position itself is real.

Betrino at a glance

  • Operator: ProgressPlay Limited (Malta, company C58305); UKGC account 39335 (betrino.com listed as White Label); MGA licence MGA/B2C/231/2012. All checked 16 Oct 2026.
  • Sports: football (Premier League the headline), horse racing, cricket, basketball, tennis, in-play.
  • Welcome: deposit £25 + code BB50, get a £50 free bet (sports) – verified on the site 16 Oct 2026.
  • Casino side: slots, jackpots, live casino, bingo – the bigger part of the platform by game count.
  • Age: 18+, UK-targeted (its terms restrict service to the United Kingdom).

The sportsbook: what it actually covers

The landing page that meets you (a Premier League offer page, tellingly) sets the tone: football is the front door. The menus cover the standard ground – match result, goals, both teams to score, the in-play markets that build as matches run – with the Premier League, the big European leagues and the domestic cups as the headline product, UK and Irish racing on the main cards, cricket on the big series, and basketball, tennis and the US sports running their seasons. It’s a mainstream sportsbook, not a deep one: the fixtures you’d bet on anyway, with less long-tail market depth than the heritage books or Bet365. For a football-first bettor who likes a clean interface and a straightforward free bet, that’s a coherent product.

The welcome offer – verified, with its real terms

As published on Betrino’s UK landing page on 16 October 2026: deposit £25 using code BB50 and get a £50 free bet. The conditions, from the offer’s own text:

  • A one-time £50 stake – minimum odds 1.5, stake not returned, only winnings pay.
  • Winnings are wagered once (1×) before withdrawal.
  • Maximum conversion £200 – the ceiling on what the free bet can produce.
  • Published as valid from 10 June 2022 “until further notice” – the start date is stale, which tells you the offer has been running a long time rather than that it’s new; confirm it’s live on the day you deposit.
  • It counts as your one sportsbook welcome on the Progressplay network – the sister brands share the welcome limit, so it’s Betrino or Spinzwin, not both.

The homepage also shows a smaller default offer (£10 deposit, £10 free bet, 7-day validity, Skrill and Neteller deposits excluded, and withdrawal requests voiding active bonuses) – which landing you get determines which terms apply to you, so read the offer attached to your actual deposit rather than assuming. The mechanics are honest – a free bet is a stake, not cash – and the £50 version is a genuinely larger reward than the mainstream field’s £20-£30 offers, which is the real reason this product exists.

Deposits and withdrawals

The welcome needs a £25 deposit (code BB50); the day-to-day method set is the standard cards-and-e-wallets range, with the caveat that Skrill and Neteller are excluded from the welcome offer per its terms. Specific withdrawal timeframes and fees weren’t published in quotable form on the pages we checked, so we’re not repeating figures we can’t source – ask support for your method before depositing. First withdrawals typically wait on identity verification, as at any UK-facing operator. And the structural fact again: withdrawals are a ProgressPlay matter, because that’s whose licence your account sits under.

The app and the site

Betrino is built mobile-first: the browser experience is the product, optimised for phone, with sports, casino and account tools a few taps deep. Check the app stores for what ProgressPlay publishes under the Betrino name if you specifically want a native app – the mobile browser is the guaranteed experience. The interface is clean and quick, which suits the football-Saturday use case; power users who want deep market configuration will find less to fiddle with than at a heritage book.

Support, complaints and the licence – the part that matters

Support runs through the site; we haven’t tested response times. The licence position, stated properly because it’s what you’re actually buying: ProgressPlay Limited holds UKGC licence account 39335 – real-event betting active since 17 December 2018, plus casino and bingo – and betrino.com appears in the UKGC’s public domain register under that account with “White Label” status (the register’s term for a domain a licensed operator runs in partnership, with the licence staying with the operator). ProgressPlay is also Malta-licensed (MGA/B2C/231/2012, verified on MGA’s own page). One transparency gap against the big brands: Betrino’s homepage footer shows no licence reference at all – it’s in the terms, which is where the operator’s own “restricted to the United Kingdom” positioning also lives. Check it yourself: UKGC register, account 39335.

On safer gambling: the platform is UK-targeted and runs the standard toolset (limits, time-out, self-exclusion), with UK obligations attaching through the operator’s licence. Confirm GamStop coverage in the account, since your counterparty is the licence holder. Free help either way: GambleAware, GamCare; the full picture on our safer gambling page.

Who Betrino is for – and who it isn’t

It’s for the football punter who wants a bigger free-bet reward than the mainstream £20-£30 offers and doesn’t mind that the brand is an operator’s partner product rather than an independently licensed name. The £50 stake is real value if you can use it (one sport, one time, 1× over, £200 ceiling). It isn’t for the deep-markets hunter (the heritage books go further), and it isn’t for anyone who wants the licence on the homepage footer rather than in the terms. The sister brand Spinzwin runs the same operator with a smaller welcome (£10 → £20) – you get one network welcome, so choose deliberately. And the main field – Bet365, Coral, Unibet, 888 – is where independently licensed products sit.

Frequently asked

Is Betrino licensed in the UK? The domain is registered in the UKGC public register under ProgressPlay Limited’s active licence (account 39335, betting since 17 Dec 2018) with “White Label” status – the licence belongs to the operator, not the brand. Verified 16 Oct 2026.

Is the £50 free bet cash? No – it’s a one-time £50 stake at minimum odds 1.5, stake not returned, winnings wagered 1×, maximum conversion £200.

Why does the offer date say 2022? The landing page states “valid from 10th June 2022 until further notice” – it’s a long-running offer, and the stale date is a cosmetic leftover. Confirm it’s live on your deposit day.

Can I take welcomes from both Betrino and Spinzwin? No – the offer is limited to one sportsbook welcome on the Progressplay network. Pick the brand and the offer that fit you.

Sources and dates: UKGC public register (account 39335 + domain list), MGA verification page, and betrino.com (landing offer text, homepage), all captured 16 Oct 2026. Desk research – no funded account, no bets, no timing tests. Corrections.
