This page explains how the reviews on Bet On Sports 24 are researched, so you can judge how much weight to give them.
How each review is researched
- We start with the operator’s licence: we check the public Gambling Commission licence register for the exact licence number, the legal operator and the territories it covers, and we record the date we checked.
- We then work from the operator’s own UK website: published promotion terms, payment and withdrawal information, help pages, responsible gambling tools and complaint routes.
- Every material fact in a review carries a source and a date. Where we could not verify something, we say it is unverified instead of guessing.
What we do not do
- We do not keep funded test accounts. We never describe withdrawals, app speed or support replies as personally tested if we have not observed them, and desk-researched reviews say so.
- We do not invent odds comparisons, payout figures or customer quotes.
- We do not present a bookmaker as a way to earn money. Every review states that you can lose the stake on any bet.
How offers are handled
An offer appears on a card or in a review only when we have matched it to the operator’s own published terms (stake, reward, minimum odds, code, expiry and eligibility). Offers that expire or can no longer be verified are removed. We do not keep an old offer running with a new date on it.
Ratings
Some cards still show a star score. Those scores predate our current methodology and are not yet backed by the evidence set out on this page; treat them as provisional. Where we do assign a score going forward, it reflects a fixed set of factors: verified licensing and customer-money protection, clarity of published payment and withdrawal terms, breadth of published markets, support routes, and safer gambling tools. Commissions never enter a score.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct it and note the correction. Use our corrections page to flag anything you believe is out of date.
